Last Saturday (May 15, 2010) few of us decided to climb Mt Baker on skis. The weather forecast was perfect. We had two teams. The Polish team (Martin, Irek, Piotr and Greg) left Vancouver at 2:30 am Saturday morning and arrived at the trailhead about 5:30ish. We took the alternate start route “via the bathrooms” which allowed us skinning almost right from the bottom. We had to overcome a steep and crusted gully which definitely did slow us down.
